My 91 V3500

This Truck Is My New Daily Driver
I actually won the truck on Ebay. I flew to fly to Pheonix, Az. and drove it back to Alabama. From the car lot in Arizona to my driveway was 1695 miles, how's that for a test drive!

The Truck As I Bought It...
It is a 1991 V3500 single rear wheel crew cab, originally it was an Air Force truck (I am the first civilian owner). It has a TBI 350 with a 4L80E overdrive automatic transmission and a NP205 transfer case. For me this truck was an especially good find because of the tranny/t-case combo, this is the only year GM ever produced it. It has a Dana 60 and 14 bolt full floater, both with 4.10 gears and open differentials. As far as the interior goes, it's pretty sparce with vinyl seats and a rubber mat and the only real option being a/c.

  Today...
As of April 2003 I have had the truck repainted and installed a Rough Country 6" lift, 35" BFG's and Weld wheels.

  The Future...
My next step will be to add 5.13 gears, a front Trac Lock and a rear Detroit Locker.
